IN THE COMMUNITY

Rooms

In La Ceiba we have 14 rooms: 10 with private bathroom and 4 with shared bathroom. Please note that we are located within the community, the hotel is surrounded by residential houses and you will have the opportunity to live an authentic experience in the Amazon. Mocagua is a quiet place, a town in the middle of nature, however you will hear the normal sounds of an active community. It is important for you to know that partying with loud music is allowed here only on Saturdays until 2:00 am. The rest of the days, we have fairly quiet nights.

Rooms with private bathroom

These rooms have a maximum capacity of 4 people. They are ideal for solo travelers, couples and families. Each one has a balcony and comfortable furniture to relax after exploring the Amazon rainforest.

The rooms have a rainwater shower, toilet, sink, beds with mosquito nets and space to store clothes. In addition, there is electricity and Wi-Fi from 6:30 am to 9:30 pm.

Please note that there is a fixed schedule during which the community has electricity, as it comes from solar panels and a diesel plant in Mocagua.

Price per night per person:

$186,000 COP. Includes 1 lunch, 1 dinner and 1 breakfast.

Family cabin

This cabin has a maximum capacity of 9 people. It is ideal for a family or group of friends. The cabin has two private bathrooms and two floors where there are a total of 6 beds (2 doubles, 2 singles, 1 bunk bed). This cabin has a large balcony with hammocks for relaxing.

The cabins have a rainwater shower, toilet, sink, beds with mosquito nets and space to store clothes. In addition, there is electricity and Wi-Fi from 6:30 am to 9:30 pm.

Please note that there is a fixed schedule during which the community has electricity, as it comes from solar panels and a diesel plant in Mocagua.

3 of these rooms have a maximum capacity of 2 people and are ideal for solo travelers and couples. We also have 1 room for 4 people (1 double bed + 2 single beds).

These rooms feature beds with mosquito nets and space to arrange clothes. Each has a balcony and a hammock to rest in after exploring the Amazon rainforest. There is also electricity and Wi-Fi from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The bathrooms for these rooms are located off the hallway. There are 2 separate toilets and 2 separate showers.
